Reflections by Juan Medina

Artist Bio:

Born in Mexico, Juan Medina is fervently interested in maintaining his country’s heritage and traditions in his artwork. The majestic fountains, colorful church domes, solitary courtyards and the countryside of Mexico all serve as inspiration for Medina.

He captures his subjects through a mastery of color and shadows; lanterns, tiles, trees, and a feast of bougainvillea are set ablaze with light. “My intention,” explains the artists, “is to put down reality as I see it and how most people would like to see their existence.”
